A very pleasant and spacious apartment in Panania, Sydney. Extremely close to Panania train station and a half hour by train to Sydney's CBD.

A bit about us – we have been unofficially married for four years and will be officially married in October this year. Jo is a high school teacher and Wendy is a public servant working in IT. We have lived in Panania for five years and find it a pleasant place to live. We will be travelling to spend Christmas with family in Vienna, and then going to Iceland to see the Northern Lights.
The apartment is in the commercial center of Panania, and there is an IGA, many specialist shops and takeaways and a pub only minutes away from the apartment. The train station is less than 100 meters away, though there is surprisingly little noise from the trains. It is a large apartment with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and good sized loungeroom and verandah. It is fully airconditioned and very secure. We have cable broadband and a subscription television service which provides pay-per-view movies, some subscription channels and Stan and Netflix.
We do get noise from foot traffic during the day but it is generally quiet at night. On the negative side there is a staircase that needs to be navigated to get to the apartment but it is only one story (17 steps). There is also no off street parking, but there is plenty of parking available on the street.
Our cat, Rufus, is very spoilt. He is a three-year-old domestic short hair but thinks he is much better than that! We have boarded him before but the last time he became very anxious and started self-mutilating, so we think it would be good for him to stay at home. He has been on medication for his anxiety but we are hopeful that he will be OK being at home. We will leave some medication for him just in case, and the vet is very close by and know him well.
Personality-wise, he enjoys the company of people and likes to be where you are. He is not a real lap cat, but does like a good pat and cuddle at times. He can get quite feisty and run up and down the hallway, but is in no way destructive. He is also the cleanest cat we have every known! He may be initially shy but will warm up to you in a day or two.
We also have three goldfish in an aquarium. They are pretty low maintenance, but will need their water topped up, and every fortnight we replace about a third of the water in the tank. They are fed once a day and that’s about it.
We have no plants at all 😊
