NEEDED HOUSE SITTER URGENT -23 DECEMBER 2017 to 4th JANUARY 2018. Our house is located in PARINGA , close to the River Murray is in the Riverland, (this is what this region is called) We have 3 bedrooms and an office with ensuite and main bathroom. Guests use a room close to the main bathroom as this is not often used. There is accommodation for a vehicle or 2. The bedroom has a reverse cycle airconditioner. A larger reverse cycle A/C in Lounge, kitchen, dining room also gas heating in this same open plan area. We have wanted to visit our grandchildren but have not been able to get away for approximately 4 years. We have two smaller type dogs, 1. Blaze - he is a chihuahua cross of 10 1/2 years who is a diabetic on two insulin injections a day, through a pen administering dosage. He is happy, but we try to illiminate fats from his diet. We supply all foods.
2. Cheeky - is a Malteese cross of 8 years. Both dogs are walked once a day. They often bark if someone comes to the door as they are inside dogs. The house is fenced both front and back. Neighbours are friendly. My husband, Henry and myself would like someone who loves animals to
be around them while we are away as we think Blaze will fret if we take him to kennels. Both dogs are vacinated and are known to the Vet in Renmark SA. Paringa is about 10 minutes from Renmark. Local shop in Paringa and Wolworths and Big W in Renmark SA. River fishing with or without a boat. Have roses in the garden and you can hear many bird sounds. Renmark SA has a rose festival each year. Agriculture is stone fruit, citrus fruit, and grapes. Banrock Station is reasonably close and wine tasting is in the area. A lot of people also like to canoe or kayak along the river. Other Riverland towns close are Berri, Loxton, Barmera. Our dates have changed because my husband had to have a second Heart By Pass operation in August 2017 and he could not drive for 6 to 8 weeks. We are now looking for house sitters from 23rd December till 4th of January 2018. I apologize if I have not replied earlier to interested house sitters. It all happened so quickly and it was quite stressful. We still would very much love to go and see our Grandchildren. If anyone is interested in the dates you may come earlier and stay a bit longer if required. As soon as I can I will enclose pictures of the 2 dogs, ourselves and the house. Dates are flexible.
