About this house sitting position in Port Macquarie

Looking for housesitters for a comfy house in beautiful Port Macquarie over the Christmas period.

This sit will be with just my rescued lorikeet and garden minding duties as Jet the kelpie will be with me.
We are on Level 3 water restrictions (and this is likely to keep going up), so, I need someone who is able to manage some watering by hand (watering can). I am downsizing the veggie patch in consideration of this.

The house is very central to everything and you can walk/cycle into town through a nature reserve.

Arty the rescued lorikeet is 8+ years old now and pretty set in her ways! She is sometimes noisy and always messy, doesn't like much close proximity these days but does like attention (confusingly!) She can be entertaining but doesn't look so great these days as she has lost many feathers to an unknown cause.

“Caring for Jet, the dog, and Arty, the rescue lorikeet, was a pleasure. Jet and I enjoyed leisurely short walks, morning and evening, around the local area through the parks. At the end of the street is a nature reserve with a paved track for easy walking whilst watching the wild birds. Jet was a very willing recipient of massages and was abundant with affection. Arty is a character who loves kisses, chats and dancing and kept me entertained with her antics. It is an easy walk to the CBD area with all the usual shops and services. I enjoyed a drive along the beach road with the Lighthouse Beach viewed from the lookout a spectacular highlight. Recommend a stay at Ali, Arty and Jet's home for other potential housesitters.” - Read more
