About this house sitting position in Port Macquarie

My house is 6 years old, tiled living areas and carpet in bedrooms only. Very easy care with a dog gate separating the bedrooms from the living area. A courtyard with a few plants at the front and a small backyard with a couple of flower beds - again very easy care. I won't expect you to do any work in the garden while I am away. My house is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood 5 minutes drive from Port Macquarie CBD. The house has A/C with ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

My main focus is finding a caring person to look after my best little mate while I take a short trip interstate. Dixie is a toy poodle ( house trained) who enjoys a couple of walks (or more!) daily but these need only be 20 minutes or so around the block. She is professionally groomed but does require a daily brush with a slicker - only a 10 minute job. She's still young so still enjoys playing with her toys and a game of tug. She is crate trained (and sleeps in a crate) but enjoys snuggling up with me on the couch or on my bed in the morning. She is definitely a companion dog but is used to being left alone - either in the house or the backyard - for up to 6 hours at a time while I'm playing bridge or lawn bowls but is not used to being left for longer periods than that. She is a great little dog and I'm sure you'd enjoy her company.

I'm happy for you to stay overnight in the guest room either before or after the sit if you live some distance away and this suits you. Dixie would enjoy that too, I'm sure! I use the guest room as an Airbnb and she loves meeting the guests. I've blocked the days while I'll be away so you won't have to worry about any Airbnb stuff though!
