About this house sitting position in Port Melbourne

We’re a family of four living in a beautiful renovated Victorian home in Port Melbourne with our gorgeous one-year-old Groodle, Goldie.

Our home combines the character of a traditional Victorian with a comfortable, modern renovation and all the amenities you need for an easy and enjoyable stay, including Wi-Fi and convenient parking directly out the front.

We’re in a wonderful bayside location, just over 1km from the beach and surrounded by great walking trails, parks and dog parks. Bay Street’s cafés, restaurants and shops are close by, Melbourne’s CBD is only a few kilometres away, and the 109 tram is right on our doorstep, making it incredibly easy to get around without a car.

Goldie is a very loved member of our family. She’s a one-year-old Groodle who is beautifully trained, affectionate, friendly and generally a very chilled-out girl. She loves company, walks and being part of everyday life.

Over Christmas, Goldie will also have her bestie Bella staying with us! Bella is our good friend’s gorgeous one-year-old Spoodle and is very much part of the extended family. Goldie and Bella spend loads of time together and are the best of friends — they play constantly, keep each other entertained and are the sweetest, most affectionate pair. In many ways, having them together actually makes life easier!

We’re initially looking for a reliable, mature and trustworthy house sitter over the Christmas period who will genuinely enjoy having the girls around and give them plenty of walks, love and company while we’re away. We also travel at different times throughout the year, so we’d love to build a relationship with someone wonderful who may be interested in looking after Goldie and our home again in the future.

For someone who loves dogs and would enjoy spending time with two gorgeous, affectionate pups in a comfortable home in a fantastic bayside location, we think it would be a pretty lovely place to stay! Read more...
