I live at Somersby Gardens Estate it’s a beautiful property that has many functions. A Wedding venue, opens to the public on Harvest trails and a cattle breeding property and also has horses. The owners live 800mt away on the property. Our cottage is situated on the back of a National park so we are surrounded by bush lands. We live only a short walk to waterfalls and not far from a lot of beaches approx 30min drive to all north and south I’m smack in the middle. Umina Beach, Patonga, Macmasters, Avoca, Terrigal, Shelly beach and Toowoon Bay to name a few. I’m on a Mountain that is 7min from the Sydney and Newcastle freeway interchange at Kariong. Also have a wonderful rural community. I live in a place where the bush meets the sea I’m blessed and love our little 2 bedroom cottage and our 4 laying chickens.
Requirement would be to let our chookies out at sun up and feed them and close their coup as sundown as they good little girls and put themselves to bed at sundown we kiss em good night (you don’t have to ?) and sometimes get to feed our friends the possum family that visit around 9-10pm for fresh fruit pieces on the back veranda ? but don’t feel obligated they are wild animals but so friendly and love coming right up to your lap and feeding it’s amazing.
And enjoy the serenity tidy up after yourself but don’t stress about anything I’m just grateful to leave my home in good hands and my chooks are feed and protected from the foxes at night. ???? Read more...
