About this house sitting position in Swan Point

We have a very small 2 bedroom home in a lovely rural location close to the Tamar River and walking tracks. Our home is set on the back block behind my sister's house...she will also have a house sitter there. Supermarkets are a 5 minute drive away in Exeter with 2 takeaway food places and a general store even closer at Gravelly Beach. The city of Launceston is a 30 minute drive away.

We have 4 cats who come in and out using a pet flap. We also have a small dog who lets herself in and out. The cats and dog will be eating dry food while we are away from a large food dispenser, so that will just need topping up a few times.

We have a guinea pig who lives on our enclosed back porch. He is the only animal that will need daily maintenance. He needs some fresh food daily and his blanket floor changed. This is literally a 5 minute job.

We are bird lovers and have 5 caged pet birds (2 inside and 3 on an enclosed back porch). They will all be left with enough food and water for a week, but I'll need you just to check on the food levels and also the water bottles to make sure they haven't gone through it. They should only need re-feeding once or twice while we are away.

Our house sitter would preferably have experience with birds, one of them is a bit cage territorial and can try and nip when changing food.

We are happy if you want to bring your own caravan/motorhome to sleep in as we realise the birds can be noisy to live with if you aren't a bird person. We are happy to provide power, water ect. But if you are a bird lover the 2 inside birds will keep you entertained with their talking and singing. Twinkle Twinkle is a favourite!
