About this house sitting position in Taggerty
A small working farm, with machinery and dams, SO, not suitable for toddlers or young kids, SORRY.
Large homestead and self-contained holiday house.
Next to the Cathedral Ranges, N.Central Victoria.nr Maroondah Hwy.
Free Range Pastured sheep flock, goat, geese, ducks, hens with
mostly automated systems of feed, shelter, water.
Mainly need someone to be around each day if we are away, for a couple of routine tasks and give our 4 dogs company-they will reciprocate!
Big grounds and lake for dog walks /swims/rabbit chases.Kayak for your use.Yabbying.Would suit anyone at ease with animals and who would enjoy the lifestyle on an Aussie farm.
Taggerty Post Office/Gen Store and Little River reserve nearby 2.3 Kms=Coffee shop with WIFI.
Main'Go To' Town, Alexandra 20mins.
Melbourne CBD 2hrs via Healesville or Yea.
Bus and train services from Taggerty town.
Locally: Cycling on the Great Rail Trail.Horseback trekking at Rubicon.Marysville and Lake Mountain (Winter Snow)Day trip distance to Mansfield and Mt Bulla. Walks and drives in the Cathedral Ranges.
Or just stay here and enjoy the place!
We may not be away full time so if you enjoy helping out with farm/house/garden projects that would be much appreciated too.
Like many home sits, as mutually agreed, we ask for a modest contribution towards electricity for longterm sits.
Please respond as promptly as possible as there is usually a 'Chain' of homesitters awaiting decisions.
