About this house sitting position in Trinity Beach
Hello there potential house sitters :-)
We are getting married in Indonesia in April next year and are looking for somebody to look after our fur/feather/fin family while staying in our house in Trinity Beach, Cairns, Far North QLD.
Let me introduce you to the suspects..
Dog 1: Jago - 5 yr old Mastiff/Great Dane. Jago is a big softy who loves cuddles & food, play time in the yard and of course his walkies. His energy levels are quite low so a 20-30 walk a day is plenty of exercise for him. I do have to mention that Jago is not great with other dogs, however there a easy ways to get around this . Would much prefer somebody who is confident with big dogs.
Dog 2: Bianca - 5yr old Rescue Greyhound. Bianca is a little couch potato and in love with anything soft. You may not be aware but greyhounds actually spend a lot of time sleeping & lounging and need relatively little exercise (30min walk daily).
Cat: Merlino - 5 yr old indoor cat. Merlino is cheeky, quite talkative, loves his food and can be very affectionate and cuddly once he gets to know you.
Chickens x 5: Bella, Daisy, Luna, Sofia & Poppy would love to provide you with fresh eggs in exchange for water, food and a clean coop :-)
Fish: We have a 120l fish tank as well as a mini cube (this one almost looks after itself) which would require daily feeding and weekly water changes. No experience required-we will give you a run down :-)
In exchange for all the feeding, walking, bathing, and cuddling you get to stay in our 4 bedroom house in beautiful Trinity Beach. Our house is nothing fancy but has everything you might need including two separate gardens, two living areas, one bathroom (shower) with separate toilet, kitchen with dishwasher, laundry, TV, unlimited Wifi (not always the fastest..), undercover parking & friendly neighbours.
The actual beach with some small cafes & restaurants is in walking distance (approx. 1km) and some small shops & takeout places just around the corner. The closest shopping centre is in Smithfield (5km) and the Cairns City Centre is about 30km away.
Our pets mean the world to us so are hoping to find an animal loving mature person/couple/family who would enjoy looking after our mini zoo while treating our house with respect.
