About this house sitting position in Ulverstone

I am looking for someone to care for Sophie, a Kelpie cross Staffie and Archie, a small shitzu/maltese. Sophie is a very quiet, friendly dog, hardly ever barks. She loves people and other animals, including dogs, goats, cows and cats. We haven't yet encountered any other animals. She is affectionate and loves company. She walks well on a lead and understands most simple instructions (hand or voice) She can be left alone for a couple of hours but gets anxious if it's for any longer. I am also responsible, while his owner is away, for a little shitzu/maltese terrier who is equally well behaved. 

My house is a 1970s, ex-government house, nothing fancy, but containing all the facilities you might need. It is on a T-junction with both streets leading to beaches about 200 metres away. One of the beaches is a leash-free dog exercise area. Altogether, there are 3 off-leash areas, an off leash dog enclosure and several other areas where dogs can roam free.

Unfortunately, my back garden is a bit of a jungle because I have arthritis and it is difficult to do much. You would not be expected to look after it unless you felt like it. I will try to do some work on it before you come. 

I have a small mazda 2 car which you are welcome to use while you are here if you are over 25 and have a clean driving licence.  Read more...
