About this house sitting position in Warriewood

We are a family of 4 (including our dog Snook) and live in family friendly Warriewood (close to Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches).

We are planning a trip to New Zealand over Christmas and require a trustworthy and reliable house and pet sitter from Wednesday, 25th December 2019 until Friday, 3rd January 2020 (9 nights).

The house is backing onto a bike pathway close to Warriewood wetlands and Rocket Ship Park, so there is plenty of options to explore the great outdoors. Mona Vale Beach is only a 5 min drive away (so are other beaches, such as Warriewood Beach, Narrabeen Beach and Avalon ...). As part of our complex, there is also a beautiful pool and landscaped gardens. The house itself is a 2 bedroom townhouse with an open plan kitchen, a nice little garden with covered terrace (and BBQ), laundry, garage and carport. We do have unlimited internet (and Netflix), too, so if you are planning to work from home or binge watch some series, that's not an issue at all. There is a bus stop just in front of the complex and the B-line to the city is not far. An IGA is in walking distance, and Warriewood Square is only a short car/bike ride away.

Our dog Snook (a 9 year old Tennessee Hound) is easy going but does need 2 good walks/runs/swims a day (there is plenty of parks and dog beaches close by). He is half human (or, that's what he thinks!) and just wants to be part of family life. We often take him on bike rides (he just trots along) - you are welcome to use our bikes. He is well trained and follows instructions well, yet, he will give you a nudge when it's time for dinner or cuddles.

We would prefer a retired couple or somebody working from home, so Snook is not all by himself all day. Read more...
