About this house sitting position in West Lakes Shore

House and pet sitters wanted to care for my 2 dogs in my beach front property December 26th-31st 2016. It would be the ideal house-sit if you are visiting relatives for example over the Christmas period and want a little bit more room/ somewhere to stay.

Great location in Adelaide:
- Located in a fantastic spot sandwiched between the ocean to the west and the boating lake to the east.
- Quiet beach front cul-d-sac with <50m walk from the front door to the ocean.
- Short 100m walk east to the boating lake and waterfront reserve
- 5 minutes from Westfield
- 5-10min drive from Henley Beach to the South and Semaphore Beach to the north
- Just a short 20min drive into Adelaide city
- So many fantastic things to do nearby including visiting Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf, Adelaide Zoo, and much more...

House is furnished with a brand new queen sized bed in the spare room. There is an adjacent large bathroom and toilet. Kitchen is large and modern with granite bench tops and quality new appliances, and everything you could possibly need to cook even the most extravagant meal. There is sun room next to the kitchen which opens on to a lovely covered alfresco area with an outdoor setting. The lounge room has a huge modern leather lounge and a 60" TV with computer attached. We also have high speed internet and wifi. Another bed can also be supplied if needed.

Sitters are needed primarily to care for our 2 very well loved dogs - a 16 year old Kelpie-cross and a 4 year old German Shepherd cross. Both dogs are well behaved and both have been to the highest levels of dog obedience training.
Our 16 year old dog 'Tia' is generally in very good health however has had some medical problems in the past, which is why I don't want to give her the stress of sending her to a boarding kennel whilst I'm away, and I want her to have more company than the agencies that just visit to feed your pets once or twice a day. She is very easy to care for and her perfect day consists of chewing a bone throughout the morning then curling up next to you in the afternoon for a nap.
Our 4 year old dog ‘Luna’ is extremely affectionate and loves to play and snuggle. Luna loves walking or running along the beach (although we don't let her run too much these days after she's had 2 knee surgeries earlier this year for a torn cruciate ligament in her knee). Luna is really a bit of a gentle giant and fantastic with people (so gentle and affectionate with our baby and toddler – see pics). She takes her job of protecting us very seriously and an intruder would dare not come near the house whilst Luna is around. Someone who is experienced with the slightly larger dog breeds would be preferred.

We live in a wonderful location with a very nice house and it would be a great opportunity for someone who is a dog lover to have a beach-side holiday in Adelaide.

We would ideally love to meet the right house sitters on or before Christmas if possible. We will be leaving on Boxing Day morning then returning on the evening of New Years Eve.
