About this house sitting position in Wonthaggi

As sitters ourselves you can read a bit about our moving to Wonthaggi back in 2021, during Covid.
Since moving in we have developed our compact garden and lawns to the state we are able to enjoy them without too much work.
The house is a (approx 12yr old) 3 bedroom split level with the bedrooms, bathroom and toilet all up stairs. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge that open onto the back deck and garden.
We are heading north to see our daughter and grand daughter and would love a passionate garden lover to care for the place.
No animals to care for, just a bit or lawn mowing maybe weekly or fortnightly - depending on weather.
Wonthaggi is classified as a regional town and is effectively the main town of the beautiful Bass Coast. From home to the rugged but beautiful Cape Paterson beaches is just 7 minutes away with wonderful walks along the cliff top or along the beach, with rock pooling an attraction at low tide. Inverloch 15mins and Phillip Island 20. Some good surfing but a wetsuit a must.
It's an easy 800m walk into the centre of town with plenty of cafes, supermarkets etc.
Wilson's Prom is 85kms from the door step and the Melb CBD a 2hr drive with a regular bus service available for those wanting something more relaxing. Read more...
