More information about this house sitter

I'm a young professional from England, currently based in Melbourne, working in the hospitality/tourism sector while I apply for PhD positions. I'm responsible and considerate, clean and tidy, a non-smoker, and love pets of all kinds, especially my own dog Jeeves.

Being away from my home country means I am always on the lookout for new places to visit. I'm an adventurous and independent traveler, and try to experience new countries and cultures by 'living like a local' as much as possible. I like to come home to a peaceful environment at the end of an active day, and I much prefer quiet nights in to the constant bustle of youth hostels when travelling for long periods.

Working within hospitality means that my schedule will be flexible, leaving me plenty of time to look after your home and furry friends. I have previously had dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish as pets, so I am well used to feeding, walking, grooming and loving animals of all kinds - and cleaning up after them! Being away for so long I will particularly miss cuddles with my dog, and I hope he will miss me too(!), so I know how important it is to have someone to spend time with and care for your animals while you are away.

I am fairly new to house-sitting, minding a home only once back in England, but have lots of experience staying in others' homes via Couchsurfing and Airbnb, so I am very grateful and respectful of those who open up their homes to others, and promise to be a responsible and considerate guest.
