Hi! I am Cherise and I am an experienced, trustworthy and respectful house sitter looking for a home to care for during Feb-June 2018. I am flexible with dates, and am happy to do short and long term house-sits.

I am an Environmental Scientist who is spending some time working for the APS in Canberra. As such, I am looking for a place/s to call home for the next 4 months.

I realise it must be daunting leaving your home to someone new. To ease your mind, I hold a full security clearance and have experience maintaining a large residence. I am leaving behind my house in Brisbane, one over active Kelpie and an older chihuahua, plus one very spoilt rescue cat. My husband is a defence member, and as such I am used to maintaining a home on my own for long periods of time. I am comfortable with petrol and battery mowers and whipper snippers, and growing up in the country, have experience with horses, cats, dogs, birds and larger livestock. I am a bit of a green thumb, and love getting out into the garden.

Have an active dog? Not a problem! I enjoy running multiple times a week and am a regular volunteer at my local parkrun. Your dog will get plenty of exercise! Have an aged pet? No issue! I can give medications and attend vet appointments as required.

I am not a partier, am a non-smoker and only drink very lightly on special occasions. Who has time for a hangover these days?

I am happy to provide regular updates and FaceTime to make yourself feel at ease while you are away.

I can provide references if required, and am happy to pay my own way for utilities. I just need a roof over my head and possibly a furry friend to cuddle.
