More information about this house sitter

I'm a shy, retiring type who enjoys staying busy through out the week. Enjoy staying active and my qualities include looking out for others. I work during the week in a law firm in the city, and volunteer during the weekends, and like to potter around the house during my downtime. I am a person who has a hard time sitting still ... my work colleagues say it's a gift, but my family say it's a curse ; depends who you ask!
I'm currently trying to save money to purchase my own home. As you can imagine, I am living vicariously through the many homeowners I sit for. As I spend most of my time around people during the day, I do tend to live like a recluse and enjoy my own company when settled. I do have a best friend, Anna, who I've known since primary school, who likes to catch up over coffee once in a while. She, and her two daughters, Ella (11) and Isabelle (14) would pop in every month or so for a cuppa.

My four years experience includes looking after a diabetic cat that required insulin injections twice a day and specific food portions. I also mind a border collie in West Footscray during the Australia Day weekend for the past two years.

When I am housesitting I tend to watering of plants under the instructions of the owner, weed control and mow the lawn, tend to payment of bills during long sitting jobs, replace gas bottles and misc., and general upkeep of the property. I like to keep the home owners up to date with a weekly e-newsletter (I try to keep it short).
