Hello, Mike and Deb here :) We love animals and have owned pets most of our lives. We are both in our 60's and non-smokers. I have been a professional Fire Fighter for Air Services Australia for the last 41 years, and I am also a registered Wildlife Rescuer. Deb is an Artist who paints pet portraits and nature. We are both trustworthy and compassionate.

Why we want to Housesit...

To combine our love and care of animals that require ongoing attention and affection, and to also care for the owners home and gardens is a pleasure and comfort to us. Having the opportunity to visit many destinations, to meet pet owners and care for their pets and home, is a great way for us to help others and to see more of Australia and enjoy more of what life has to offer.

What we bring to the assignment / relevant experience...

We love animals! I have owned and cared for a variety of pets being dogs, birds, guinea pigs and reptiles. Deb has also owned and cared for her pets...cats, dogs, fish, birds, possums, kangaroos and chooks. We have enjoyed a few housesits now, caring for a variety of dogs and a horse, and we have REFERENCES available.

My level of security is cleared by ASIO and meets the highest regulatory background checks available in Australia being employed with Air Services Australia. Deb has recently retired from her Teacher Assistant position with Education Queensland after 18 years and is now pursuing her passion for art.

We are very capable of taking care of your animals and your property. We take pride in our own home. We have owned and cared for many homes and we know how to deal with any issue that may arise. We are both keen gardeners and enjoy being outdoors. House-sitting and pet care is our passion. I even bring my own custom made pooper-scooper :)

We would be equally grateful for the opportunity to be your house-sitters and look forward to a partnership/friendship with you, ensuring that you are relaxed and reassured that we are the right people to look after your pets and home, and hopefully do such a great job that you would like us to come back again and again. Oh, and we like to send you happy snaps from time to time from our iPhone just to let you know how your fur-babies are going :)
