More information about this house sitter

Hello, my name is Dennis Reye and my wife is Dianne. We are a retired couple who are interested in Canberra as maybe a place to retire. We have lived in a number of places in Australia and New Zealand and have traveled overseas several times. I (husband) have spent 47 years in education - teacher, principal and in educational system management. My wife, as she followed me around, has held a variety of office and office management positions.

We live in accordance with high moral principles. We are non-drinkers, non-smokers and vegetarians.

Over the years we have kept several dogs, mainly Labradors, cats, birds (have had my own large aviary) and guinea pigs so enjoy being with and caring for animals. Taking animals for their daily walk would fit in well with my daily exercise regime.

We have lived in other peoples homes, looking after them in their absence. Have taken teaching secondments where we have lived in the home of the teacher on leave.

As our retirement gives lots of free time we would enjoy spending time living in other situations and would assure the owners that we would take care of their property and any animals associated with it. Reference available on request.
