More information about this house sitter

We are an active married couple in our 60's. We have four adult children all making their own way. We are now at the next stage and want to move around a bit and visit different places. We decided that home sitting provides the opportunity to do this with a lot of flexibility.

We love animals and gardens too. We are super clean and always leave a place better than we found it. We are energetic and walk every day, so if you have a pet that needs plenty of exercise and some good old fashioned love, we do that too.

As home owners for over thirty years we know what it takes to keep a home in good shape. Having managed the build of our five bedroom home, Chris has lots of practical experience and can fix most things if needed.

Over the years we have had dogs, chickens, cat, birds including an Indian Ringneck, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish. So we have lots of experience in looking after animals. You can be confident that your beloved pet will be in good hands.

We enjoy gardening and our home was on a 2000m2, so we know what's involved if you have large grounds to maintain. We both have green thumbs so can keep your garden in tip top shape if required.

We have travelled a lot overseas, so it's time to see a lot more of Australia. Home sitting gives us the opportunity to spend some quality time and get to know the area. For the moment we are sticking to Victoria and specifically the Mornington Peninsula and north on the bayside as we like to be close to our children, which is a challenge given they are spread around!

In summary, we are reliable and trustworthy. We are great with animals and we build an affinity very quickly. Whilst we are just starting with house sitting we can provide personal references and police check. Read more...
