More information about this house sitter

I'm a 37-year-old professional woman, living in Hobart. I've been in the same rental property for the last 7 years; however, due to owners selling the property, I will be moving in April 2018.

I'm currently set to build my own home but until completed, I will be homeless! The thought of moving in with my parents for the remainder of the year is only marginally less horrifying than trying to secure a 6-month tenure in Hobart's woeful rental market.

Prior to renting, I was a professional housesitter for much of my twenties. I'm incredibly responsible (to the point of boring and safe!), routinely and low key, making me a trustworthy person to take care of your home...and more importantly, your pets.

I love all animals and have owned many over the years including birds, cats, dogs, fishies and goats. Therefore, I welcome the opportunity to take care of your special ones. And while taking care of your pets, I'm happy to help out in the garden, too!

On a personal level, I work full time for a member of parliament in the Legislative Council. I am addicted to politics and have worked within the profession for 13 years.

I'm an avid reader, enjoy day trips in the car, online shopping and Sunday afternoons with Netflix. Although I don't get to often enough, horse riding is a favourite past time and 'when I grow up' I intend to buy a pony of my own (it'll happen one day). I love going out for dinner with friends and I love a good wine or two with dinner....sort of balanced out by gym and pilates, which I can't live without.

As mentioned, I adore all animals and have a pet parrot, Willy, and a cat, the latter of whom officially lives next door, a fact she does not care about. Ideally, Willy would come along and help me care for your home and pets; but (although I'd be sick with missing him), if it weren't permitted, I would subject him to living with the parents for periods of time.
