About:
I am a friendly, non-smoking mature woman who loves to travel and enjoys spending most of my evenings at home, preferably cuddled up with a furry friend. I have been working for a Federal Government department for over 10 years. I grew up with dogs and cats as part of my family. I have had over 20 housesits through other sites, all with 5 star reviews.

Why I want to house-sit:
I love animals, exploring different areas of Melbourne and it's fun! I love looking after animals but my current circumstances mean it is not practical to have any of my own. By house sitting I get to enjoy animals and meet new people.
I also understand that, for many pets, kennels and catteries can be quite stressful places, so it's important they are able to stay in place familiar to them - their home. I love the idea of being able to help people out so that they can have their holiday and not worry about the pets back home.

My experience:

I have rented for many years and have been a responsible tenant. I have both dealt with various household issues quickly and responsibly. I care for your home and pets as though they were my own. I take our responsibilities in pet sitting very seriously and aim to make your pets as happy and settled as possible.
GIVING MEDICATION – I have had experience with numerous medications with both Shiba Inu and my last cat. Kobe had glaucoma and cataracts and went blind (although still a happy boy). I have also dealt with pet cancer and epilepsy and I am able to give eye drops and oral medication.
POLICE CHECKS - Being a Federal Government employee, I have been through several security checks and have a current security clearance. All verification can be provided on request. We are tidy, resourceful, self-sufficient people, and understand the trust put in us when looking after your home and beloved pets. I take our responsibilities at your place very seriously, respecting your guidelines, any training you have done with your pets, any specialised meals they require and also your privacy.
