We are a retired,happily married couple,living for the past 14 years in an over 55's village complex in the seaside area of Kingscliff,just south of the Gold Coast, but in northern N S W. I am a retired plumber by trade and worked the last 32 years of my working life in the Railway Workshops at Ipswich QLD, where I was born. I started as a plumber at the Workshops and retired as the Site Service Manager. We are non smokers and enjoy spending time with our many friends here in the complex. We both enjoy going away for trips in our caravan. We also belong to many groups here where we live.
We are clean & good living people and are non smokers.We have previously house sat in St. Ives, Sydney at 2 separate locations,looking after a dog,chooks rabbits and swimming pools,also house sat in Tabulam,Rathdowney and Swansea in Tasmania. Until we moved where we are now, over the years we have had a number of corgi dogs. Both of our married daughters have dogs so we are used to being with them and know how they have to be treated in a loving home enviroment.Late 2015 we house sat in Rathdowney,looking after 5 horses, which had only to be fed, as well as 2 dogs & 34 head of cattle, which we had to keep check on and make sure their water troughs were full.Before we did the sit in Rathdowney, we looked after another property outside of Casino, which also had 2 horses and 2 dogs.We have 2 daughters and 4 grand-daughters. With 1 daughter and girls living on the Sunshine Coast with her husband,and the other daughter and family living in St Ives,Sydney.Our first priority, while we are house / pet sitting, is doing just that, George & Pam Read more...
