About this house sitting position in Bibra Lake

Hi! We are Laurie and Rolf.

Our home is a 4 by 2 fully renovated house on a very large (around 870 sq metres) in a quiet cul de sac. We are located 16 km from Perth CBD, bus and train nearby, and about the same distance from the Port of Fremantle. We have a large pool, fruit trees and a veggie patch. The pool area is wired with speakers, so you can link in to Spotify etc. through your phone to listen to music.

Inside, the house has a projector and screen in the theatre room, grand piano in the living room and several other TVs throughout the house. Our internet is exceptionally fast (business plan) and available in the home office. Also in the office is the computer, a 4K monitor and television.

Our neighbors are very pleasant and helpful. In fact, our neighbors across the street are the parents of our son's fiancé. Next door are a professional couple (nurse and physiotherapist) with a 4 month old baby.

We have 2 dogs, Hobbit, a 15 year young boy shitzu/Tenterfield terrier who enjoys a lot of sleep, then awakes and I a pup all over again, and Rosie Cotton, a 5 year old, sweet and loving very smart shitzu/griffin who lives for us and food :). We also have a 16 year old sulphur crested cockatoo, Wilson. He is easy - would be fine staying in his cage the whole time and would be amenable to a pet now and then if he likes you.

We are Australian but originally from Canada.

We have now finalised our plans to tour Scandinavia from mid May to mid July.

In the past, our son and fiancé and neighbors have looked after the animals and the house, however Rosie stressed a bit towards the end of the 3 months, hence our search for a house minder, and son and fiancé have a new baby hence don't want to burden them.

Requirements - simply, we would greatly appreciate you feeding and loving the dogs and Wilson and enjoying our home. Cutting the grass is optional as we can arrange a gardener if you prefer.
