About this house sitting position in Coburg

We are looking for a house sitter/s, but more importantly a pet lover. We have 3 indoor cats
(a 7 year old and 2 younger ones ( 15 months & 12 months) and two younger dogs (both 4 years old), a Kelpie and a Labrador, who both live outside. The dogs need someone, but 2 people may be better who will be happy to walk them daily, throw the ball for them in the back yard, and generally provide human contact each day. They have both attended obedience training and are becoming much more sensible as they get older! We currently have a dog walker for them to help with exercising once or twice a week, which may be available during the house sit depending on Christmas Holidays.
The cats need someone to feed them, cuddle them, hold their paws, the cooling and ceiling fans are set just right. Because they are inside cats they do have litter trays that will need clearing daily and changing in 7 - 10 days.
The house is renovated and close to the city and plenty of public transport options within a short walk including trams and the train. There is cooling available for use during the warmer months. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
The dogs live outside, and may need their beds remade at night as they tend to make a mess of them during the day.
The cats are pretty low key. Penny loves people and needs lots of cuddles and reassurance when her human Mum is away. Lexi can be shy but will come around fairly quickly while the youngest, Jack, loves people and is keen to be involved in everything you do.
We are looking for house & pet sitters who are happy to walk the dogs each day and provide company and attention to the cats. Read more...
