Hi,
We are wanting to head away for a much needed break from 30/12 to 26/01 and we are looking for someone to love our fur baby Cooper who is a 15 year old maltese shitzu and our flock of chooks while we are away. Cooper is a lovable little guy who is mostly an inside dog. At 15 he enjoys spending most of his day sleeping on the couch or at your feet. He loves a cuddle or a walk but he is equally happy to just chill at home so walking him is optional. The chooks (Hens and Roosters) are fairly self sufficient. We have bulk food and water stations set up for them that should take care of their food and water needs for most of the time we are away. However the stations will need to be checked occassionally and possibly topped up if they are running low towards the end. Its not hard to do and we would tell you where to find everything you need or we can have someone come and do that also if need be. We usually get around 8-12 eggs a day that are delicious and you are welcome to the eggs. The chooks love to free range for extra bugs and a dust bath if you are home for the day but will be ok if they stay cooped up also if you prefer.

We live on 5 acres in the leafy green, semi rural western suburbs, 16km west of Brisbane. It's a large older style (80's) 5 bedroom family home with pool and plenty of space to chill out and relax. We have great neighbours and the area is pretty quiet and peaceful. We will mow before we go and we will have someone come while we are away to take care of the lawn etc. The pool does need regular chlorine and scooping of leaves to keep the water quality good if you are planning to use it while you stay. We have wifi, Foxtel and Netflix for you to use while you are here also.

Our local shops are about 7kms away and we do not have easy access to public transport so you will need your own transport while you are staying. The shops are fairly well equiped with all of your needs, supermarket etc but Indooroopilly is only a 15 minute drive if you are wanting more variety. We have a local coffee van at the end of the road and some lovely local coffee shops and restaurants also. If you like to bush walk there is an abundance of great bushwalks locally also.
