About this house sitting position in Queanbeyan

A piece of paradise in the middle of the bush but 15 minutes from the centre of Canberra and walking distance from the local golf course. I live in a large house on 2 acres with friendly neighbours in walking distance. Although the block is large, most of it is natural bush with tranquility and my own mob of kangaroos.

Canberra autumn colours are beautiful - especially if you live in a part of Australia that doesn't get the season changes. As this trip will be mid-winter you need to be able to light a fire as the only heating is via a combustion stove. You will need your own car as there is no public transport. Non smokers only.

I am a mature professional and run my own business from home.

I have 3 small (3-4kg) poodle/non shedding dogs aged about 12 years (adopted from the pound). They are in good health but are used to being indoor dogs with a reasonable amount of attention.

I also have young budgies ( about 1 year) who are easy care and very cheerful.

Looking for someone who is able to house sit while I attend a conference in Melbourne. I will leave on Sunday morning and return very late Wednesday night. Ideally you would be able to get here Saturday night or Sunday morning and leave on Wednesday at whatever time it suits you. Or you would be welcome to stay Wednesday night. Read more...
