Hello

We retired and sold our small business mid-2019. Over the years we have travelled extensively in Australia and overseas but now we want to spend time "living" in different communities. We have found pet/house sitting to be a wonderful way of providing this experience.

We are both fit and healthy, non-smokers, clean and tidy, security conscious and respectful of others property, belongings and privacy.

Since September 2019 we have enjoyed pet/house sit assignments on the East Coast of Australia. Our assignments typically include dogs and cats, old and young, active and lazy, healthy and ailing. A couple of assignments have included rescue dogs which can be nervous around new people, particularly men. The longest it took for a rescue dog to be comfortable with Robert was three days. We have also looked after chooks, rabbits and fish. We ensure the pets get plenty of love, care and attention.

We have our own transport and are not travelling with a caravan or pets.

We planned an extensive round-the-world trip to travel and visit overseas family and included pet/house sit assignments in the UK. Therefore we leased our apartment in North Sydney until August 2021. When the Australian borders closed we continued pet/house sitting on the East Coast. We have assignments to mid March 2021.

We are Airbnb users and have included these references with some pet/house sitting references. We also have police clearances.

We find it is best to have a chat with owners to see if we fit with what you are looking for to take care of your pets.

Rob & Denise were the perfect housesitters. From first contact right thru to when I returned from my 3 week holiday they were excellent. We received regular updates on our 2 dogs which was our main concern and they looked after them as they were their own. The house was kept clean and tidy as well.
I wouldn't hesitate in using them again as for us they were exactly what we were looking for. 10 out of 10

Fantastic house and pet sitters. They took exceptional care of all our chickens, dogs and fish. Gardens were well cared for including our veggie garden. Gave us regular updates on our pets and made sure our holiday was relaxing knowing our home was in safe hands. Highly recommend Denise and Robert, would have them back again anytime.

Cannot recommend Denise & Rob enough. They are a lovely, friendly and reliable couple who took great care of my 2 dogs & elderly cat, to the point I think the animals missed them after they had gone!
