I like to get out into the country and farm/house sitting gives me that opportunity. It is a good way to explore the regions. I reside in Canberra at other times. Most recent house sitting experience was at Wantabadgery for 50 days during June/ July 2022. My duties were to care for 2 dogs, 2 cats, 12 chickens, guinea fowls and numerous aviary birds. In November 2021, looked after a property at Cobark, west of Gloucester for a month. I was required to care for chickens, ducks, cat, dog, horses and garden and security of the property. In September 2021, i looked after a property at Beelbangera out of Griffith, where I was responsible for the care of 6 cats, 4 cattle, horse, 16 chickens and proper care of the property. It included some mowing around the house and orchard. In 2020, i was engaged as farm sitter on a cattle property in the Brindabella Valley. That was 14 weeks from June 2020 to September 2020 and another two weeks in November 2020. Main role was off peak pumping, check the location of the cows, put some hay out, did some winter cleanup in the garden and made sure the property was intact when the owners returned. I had also undertaken house sitting in Canberra from time to time, looking after home and pets. I am observant, flexible and reliable. Am a practical person in good health and keep tidy. Handy at garden maintenance. I take good care of properties. I have tertiary qualifications in horticultural science and visual arts. I am an active person.
