More information about this house sitter

I am a retired academic specialising in French language, culture and cinema and Annette, after a career in teaching English to migrants, retrained as a yoga and pilates teacher specialising in people with disabilities.
We left Sydney 9 years ago, initially to work as volunteers in the N.T. national parks and assistant teachers in aboriginal schools. We then had various house-sits in Victoria and Tasmania where Annette completed a Masters of Medical Sciences degree and made a dvd based on the outcomes of her research. After three stays on Kangaroo Island living in an ecological, self-sustaining house and looking after a vineyard/farm, a poddy-calf, dog, bird and 73 cows, we moved to WA and cared for a farm and animals near Albany. Since then we have looked after 6 other properties and now have house-sitting commitments taking us through to Sept 2018 after which we would like to obtain another one in WA, particularly in the South-West.
The house we own in Sydney is currently rented out and, as owners, we understand the property situation from that perspective too. We can guarantee that any home, animal(s) and/or garden that we look after will be cared for with the utmost attention, respect and care. Thank you. Read more...
