I am a 56 year female ( non drinking, non smoking) who likes to take the opportunity to step out of the everyday routine and experience new places, people and animals by house sitting. I equally love coast, city and country having lived and house sat for periods of time in all 3. My cat and dog have passed on from old age, so I really enjoy the opportunity to gain my daily quota of happiness from time spent with yours. I have looked after both young and very old dogs and cats, small and BIG dogs (I am a daily walker) and always appreciate watching over "the girls" if you have chooks. I am fully aware of the responsibility of caring for others animals - it is not something I take lightly.I am a frustrated gardener (now living in a terrace) so actually look forward to getting into someone else's yard and weeding or just inspecting daily and making sure the water is kept up. I like ride-on mowers. My current job enables me to work from home- with my boss not minding whose home I am in or where it is situated. My background is in art and I really enjoy the opportunity to see new places and landscapes (both urban and rural) to give me creative ideas. I see house sitting as an opportunity for me to 'give'. The surprise of what I 'receive' from the experience is what keeps me wanting to do it. If you want someone who is highly responsible but whose approach is essentially 'personal' then perhaps I am the one to mind your home. I am open to short or mid range 'sits' throughout 2018.
