Hello everyone!

We have just signed up to this platform in the hope to find some house sits to assist us in our trip around your beautiful country. As well as to make new friends, both furry and not! Although we are new to Mind a Home we have a wide range of references from previous house sits and employers to assure you that we are indeed a great choice to look after your home and furry friends. Please do not be deterred by our age. We are two mature young ladies, who do not drink, smoke, or party and have extremely clean habits.

We are Eva and Ruby. Kiwi best friends making the move to Australia. We both have experience both houses sitting and pet-sitting in New Zealand and can confidently say we have left both the pets and home-owners extremely satisfied. We both have grown up around animals. We both absolutely adore animals and would be ecstatic at the prospect of spending some time with yours! We are sadly leaving 3 cats, a dog, and goldfish behind in New Zealand, so we hope to find comfort in your pets! We are more than capable of taking care of your home and pets and we would take the responsibility extremely seriously.

A little bit more about us.

Ruby: Hello! I'm born and raised in New Zealand. I am super excited and grateful for the prospect of being able to travel around Australia. I have been working for a vintage clothing shop for the past 6 months. But also have experience in hospitality. I also Nanny part-time for a family and I absolutely have hanging out with the three young children. I love traveling and Outdoor activities. As well as film and cooking. I am super clean and tidy (my friends would say to a fault,) and can assure you I will leave your home in pristine condition. I have two Sphynx cats and 3 goldfish and have spent heaps of time with my grandparents German Sheppard. I look forward to any opportunities to house sit in the future!

Eva: Hello my name is Eva! I am a young lady who lives in Auckland New Zealand. I work full time in administration and accounts. I pride myself on being very clean, tidy, and organized. I have a cute little dog named Baxter and the coolest Bengal cat named Bougie. I love to take my dog for walks on the beach with my friend and her Beagle, Coco, and Greyhound, Kobe. Over the past couple of years, I have house sat several times for a lovely lady that lives on a farm in Auckland, New Zealand. She plays polo cross and often has to travel elsewhere in New Zealand. She relies on me to take care of her beautiful home, farm, and animals! She has horses, cows, chickens cats, and dogs. I have also house sat for my Nana a couple of times when she has been overseas as well as taking care of my own family home when they're not around. I am a netball fanatic and play netball in my spare time. I am very patient and caring and I am super excited to come over to Aussie for an elongated holiday to explore and see new places. I absolutely love animals and I look forward to looking after your furry friends (especially considering I can't bring my dog Baxter along for the trip...)
