More information about this house sitter

I love animals and enjoy travelling so have decided that being a pet and house sitter will enable me to enjoy both. I am a non smoker and have cared for all kinds of pets as a mother and grandmother. I have rental units of my own so understand the importance of looking after others' properties, including swimming pools and gardens.

Since I joined Mindahome I have had two pet sits. The first involved looking after an apartment and beautiful and entertaining cat called Jasmine. My second house sit involved looking after a house, pool, gardens and lawns, as well as an energetic and affectionate Staffordshire Terrier, Maggie, and some fish.

As I am still working full-time as a secondary school principal I will only be available in Queensland school holidays. However, as I am anticipating retirement in the next three or four years I am taking this as a first step. As a registered teacher I do not require a blue card as my registration encompasses a police check.

I can assure you that I will treat your home as my own and care genuinely for your pets so that they are happy and well looked after.
