We recently completed two years of home-minding whilst our new apartment at Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, was being constructed. We have decided to continue to home & pet mind and do overseas home exchanges. We are in Bega, NSW until end of August, 2017. After that we will spend a few weeks at home before heading off to Croatia for several weeks. We are currently open to offers for 2017 :-)
We are practicing Christians who have redirected, rather than retired, into volunteer work here and overseas, we are early 70''s and quite fit.
We have competed three overseas home exchanges of several weeks each.
Our first house mind lasted five months. We acted as caretakers and house fixers on a working 64,000 acre property out of Walgett, NSW (Outback near Lightening Ridge) We completed house and pet minding assignments in Airlie Beach, Redcliffe, Bega, Witta Witta, Scarborough & Alexandra Headland x 3.
We have also lived in several overseas countries and are familiar with many other cultures we may encounter in house minding in Australia. We have full Australia-wide police checks on ourselves and will forward viewing details to your email address upon request.
Roger is a retired RAAF officer and Viki is a retired nurse. Our family lives on the Sunshine Coast, our preferred sit location. However, we are happy to go further afield as needed. Being originally from South Australia we are prepared to house mind there also.
We have had pets (dogs & cats) for many years although nothing at present. Maybe you have a pet/pets you would like us to care for ?
Roger's current passion is photography. So it does not matter where he is, there is always something interesting enough to photograph! He exhibits on the internet.
