We are both heading for the grand '60' birthday and transitioning into retirement, which will include travel around Australia.
A few years ago, on my own, I house sat for 12 consecutive months up the east coast, spending several weeks at each home caring for cats, dogs and birds and really loved the whole experience.
Now I have a wonderful partner to join me and as we live in the cool of south Victoria a touch of winter warmth is very alluring!! We both love walking and exploring new places, it may even tempt us to move permanently to a new area in the future.
I'm experienced with animal care, having had numerous pets of my own over the years and my partner would be able to bring his work with him, as most of it he does online, and is very proficient with a lawn mower if required!
