Hello everyone, we have been house sitting and travelling since 2013 and as house sitters we are: Younger than the old ones, Better looking than the ugly ones, Fitter than the fat ones, We work harder than the lazy ones and are lucky to be healthier and happier than most!

Our house sitting experience has ranged from small jobs with one cat and a few pot plants through bigger jobs with 20 acres, horses and chooks, right up to managing a goat farm! We have a home in Kiama NSW but love the experience of house sitting where we can be gypsies, farmers, city slickers, and travellers. Each new place feels like home for us and we have made wonderful lifelong friends through house sitting (some people, some dogs, some cats, we even fell in love with a few goats but that’s another story!)

We understand the leap of faith you take as homeowners inviting strangers into your homes to hold the fort while you are away. There are lots of great house sitters out there and it’s hard to set yourself apart from the rest. Compared to the typical house sitters (if there is such a thing) we are probably a bit younger (mid-late 40’s), maybe with a bit more energy for running around with dogs at the park! We are (almost) fearless! Not afraid to get our hands dirty, not afraid of hard work and confident with animal care (we have done drenching, injecting and trimming goat feet, handling horses cows, sheep, chooks, geese, goats and more) We have lots of practical skills and common sense (gardening, farm equipment, home renovation and maintenance, Shane is a plumber) so if something goes wrong while you are away we can fix it! We are experienced, we know each homeowner has different expectations and requirements, so we make sure to understand exactly what you want.

We have over a dozen homeowners who can provide great references for us, and they have all asked us to come back a second or third time so for a lot of them we are starting to feel like family! They would all be happy to speak on the phone with you about us and we also have a load of written references.

We don't smoke, absolutely love animals and promise you will find your place spotlessly clean when you get home with your lawns mowed, animals loved, plants watered and everything you asked for done just as you specified. If the timings work out we will also have dinner prepared for your return!

If we are close by we are happy to pop around at any time so you can meet us and get to know us a little better before you decide on your house sitters, otherwise we can skype or have a quick chat on the phone. Read more...
