More information about this house sitter

We are a retired couple traveling around Australia after renting out our home and living the dream seeing our great and vast country.

Our names are Ron and Ruth and we are aged 66 and 63 respectively. but are in good health and more than capable to meet any of the many challenges that house-sitting can throw up from time to time. We pride ourselves on our honesty, trustworthiness and taking our responsibilities in looking after your home and treasured pets with all the love and caring that you would expect of yourselves. We have a love of all animals. but especially of cats, dogs, birds and fish, having had all these over our lifetime, quite often all at the same time. Unfortunately these days we no longer have any animals ourselves.

Recently we have had several house-sits looking after animals that have behavioral problems or have come to there owners as rescue pets (Referees are available if required)

Ruth has professional qualifications in Child Care, Education Training and Assessment and is a Remedial Massage Therapist with a sub-specialty in Animal Massage.
Her interests are reading sowing and crafts as well as exercising, exploring & adventure and enjoying the freedom of retirement.

Ron's qualifications are as a Registered Nurse and a Lawyer (specializing in Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution), he is currently completing his Masters of Legal Practice externally.
Ron.s interests are fishing, boating, gardening exercising, exploring, adventure and relaxing in retirement.

We are available for home and pet sits anywhere in Australia and for any length of time from a few days to several months. As we are retired we are quite flexible and amiable to those sudden changes in plans that occasionally catch us out.
