Hi,
I returned to Australia in 2020, having spent over 16 years in Japan, to complete my Psychology Master's. The final component is online due to covid, and so allows me to be located anywhere.
My sister is in Port Macquarie and I've been living there, and also with my elderly father in Pottsville when he needs some help and TLC.
In Japan I didn't keep animals, however, I did pet-sitting for several friends, one who is affiliated with the local council as an animal rescue person. Those homestays were all claws (cats) and paws (dogs), either them staying with me, or me with them.
However, as a kid I grew up with animals (dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks, horses, cows, donkeys, kangaroos and an emu). I was the kid who regularly brought strays home, and collected the neighbourhoods troublesome horses.
For my provisional psychologist registration I require a current police check and so have this.
I am a keen gardener, very active, enjoy doing yoga, doing pretty much anything outdoors on foot, bicycle or in water, and am otherwise a fairly quiet homebody. Until the end of June I will be studying for several hours most days as well.
